Integrated Development Environment

The VIA IDE, or VIA Integrated Development Environment, provides VIA users a robust development platform to easily create VIA Processes. VIA IDE has been designed from the ground up to work specifically with the VIA Data Management Platform. VIA IDE allows users to create or edit any VIA configuration file. VIA IDE also empowers users with easier troubleshooting and process control. Whether you are a power user and a sophisticated coder, or have never read a line of code in your life, VIA IDE offers tools for all levels of users.

VIA IDE is built to provide platform users a robust yet user-friendly tool to address real world business and related data challenges. VIA IDE includes in depth descriptions of all data management, analytical and reporting modules built into the Opturo platform. The interface is also split to provide those adept at coding a specific window for that purpose, while at the same time providing the icon-driven VIA Modeler for those users who are not proficient at coding. Processes can be built one step at a time, including various built-in wizards, which help users auto-detect and standardize settings. Log and Data Windows are also provided, which enable users to monitor processes as they run/iterate, and then assess the output from each step as a process is built.

The Opturo Advantage

Drag and Drop

VIA IDE provides a user-friendly drag and drop interface, which provides non-coders with the ability to build processes.

Module Wizards

Module specific wizards provide users with the ability to build sophisticated processes one step at a time with simplicity and efficiency enhancements.

Visual Representation

VIA Modeler offers users a visual representation of any VIA Process, which offers the ability to run any process at any step/level.

Quick Access

VIA IDE enables users to setup quick access to frequently used modules with pre-defined settings, which can increase productivity and efficiency.

Data Window

Display the data at every point in the process for easy understanding of how the data changes through each step/point of any process.

Iterator Window

VIA IDE’s Iterator Window allows users to you see all iterations within any VIA Process in order to monitor processes as they run.

Key Benefits

Daily transaction-based performance and attribution can be implemented in a few weeks or less, as Opturo leverages each client’s unique infrastructure. Data formatting, replication and synchronization issues can be minimized or eliminated with an Opturo implementation.

Meaningful Analytics

Gain a competitive advantage by deploying analytics which reflect your investment professionals’ actual decision making processes. Restrictive “black box” analytics can be a thing of the past when you use Opturo’s pioneering marriage of enterprise data management with innovative analytics.

Speed and Scalability

Opturo’s innovative architecture provides clients with a platform which can be scaled to meet the needs and scope of any project. Whether leveraging significant proprietary data infrastructure or going to the cloud, Opturo can help the largest enterprises address their big data challenges.

Advanced Reporting

Opturo offers clients the industry’s most robust suite of reporting and visualization tools. Transparent data and model calculations allow cascading time series drill-down visualization. Clients are provided the tools to create custom reports themselves, or they can leverage our professional staff to assist.

Flexible Customization

Is your infrastructure robust enough to meet the challenges and opportunities the future may present? Opturo offers our clients a modular platform which is inherently flexible and able to respond to emergent trends and requirements, whether it be for data management, reporting or analytical needs.

Cloud or Local Deployment
